How Do Hotels Keep Their Towels So White?

I mean, I’ve always wondered. The towels must go through so much, and yet, every time I stay at a hotel the towels are fluffy and clean.

they have industrial washers & dryers. the washers have 3 hoses at the back that each go to a bucket. one is soap, one is bleach & the other is some kind of sanitizor or something–I really can’t remember. a code has to be pushed into the buttons on the washer for towels–a different code for sheets and different for bedspreads & blankets, etc.it sets temperature, how much soap & bleach.
when the towels get thin they are torn up for rags for the cleaning ladies.

They probably order new towels often & you’re always seeing either new towels, or nearly new towels. they probly use the older ones to clean with or something.

They have very hot water, and great dryers–worked for motel but we didn’t use bleach. Of course, they ordered new towels on a regular schedule, that helped.

They use a lot of chlorine bleach. Before the towels get thin and scratchy, they throw them away.

They’re used to wipe the cocaine off of the end-tables in the luxury suites.
