What Hotels Are Best In Chicago, That Are Near To Subway And Close To Downtown Attractions?
I am visiting chicago for the first time.I want to feel safe and i want to see as much of downtown as i can. Will be going into Ohare international. Help please!! Thank you all in advance.
the W hotel , it is a wonderful hotel and beautiful hotel. they have two locations its very nice and comfy with great looking rooms. There is the one on lake shore drive and then the one that they call the city center.

The Hotel Burnham: http://www.burnhamhotel.com/ at 1 W Washington isn’t even a block from the Washington Street Blue Line, which is the train you’ll be taking in from O’Hare.
It’s also at most two blocks from every subway/elevated train in Chicago. Any bus you may need to jump on to get around downtown is also very convenient to the Burnham. It’s a nice central location, right down the street from Millennium Park, just south of the river and just north of the Museum Campus.
My family drove to Chicago last summer, and we stayed in the Essex Inn. The location is great, right on Michigan Avenue. It’s located across from Grant Park, and a very short walk to the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum. They also have a free shuttle that can take you to Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile shopping. The rooms are pretty good, the pool is freezing, the price is cheap. I don’t know if you are going alone or with other people, but our family of 6 (we have young children) had a good time here. It is located on Michigan Avenue, right next to the Hilton.
you can catch a train anywhere. if you want a great hotel, bring lots of money.
My favorite is the “W” downtown on Lake Shore Dr.
