What Hotels In Waikiki, Hi Are Best To Stay At?

What are some hotels that are recommended to stay at? Preferably in Waikiki, beach side, with balcony of ocean view, kitchenette if possible, and walking distance from all the shopping and the International Market.

One of my favorites is the Hilton Hawaiian Village…lots of things going on…nice pools, restaurants, shopping…all on the grounds and right on the beach. Negotiate for a junior suite upgrade once you get there. http://www.hiltonhawaiianvillage.com/
The nicest though may be the Halekulani…http://www.halekulani.com/
Another one…and this is a GREAT value for Waikiki…although no ocean views, but clean, with kitchenettes (a rarity in Waikiki) and a great value is The Breakers…. only a block and a half (very short walk) to the beach… More of a 2-story, low-rise hotel more like an apartment building than a hotel…but the price is right for the location!

    Enjoy!

HILTON! the one in waikiki hawaii has penguins! (no joke) and it also has a hallway filled with parrots so if you say one thing, they ALL repeat after you, even if your’e like talking to your mom and its right on the beach! I LOVE IT! i lived in hawaii for 6 years. :)

Most things in Waikiki are within walking distance. Try http://www.ohanahotels.com orhttp://www.outrigger.com
Also when there head to Dukes for a few cocktails – spectacular
