When Doing An Online Hotel Search, Is It Possible To Bring Up “mom & Pop” Type Of Hotels Along With Name Brand?
If so, how do you do it. I generally stay in the smaller not-so-nice hotels due to my limited budget but generally speaking, I can only find them on the way to my destinations not ahead of time online.
If you know the city or town you will be or are wanting to stay in, try these*http://www.yellowpages.com/ – Cached – Similar – http://www.theyellowpages.com/ – Cached – Similar -
Many “Mom & Pop” places aren’t a part of the majority of 3rd party hotel booking sites (like hotels.com, etc.)….so, finding them is a bit more difficult.
However, if you are looking for cheap, I use http://www.resideo.com/ Search for the city you are looking to stay in, then do a quote for the dates you are looking to stay. When the results appears, sort them by price — that’ll put the cheapest places first.
Hope that helps!
Do a search for hotels and when it asks for your price range put in the smaller amount. The mom and pops will only come up if they have a website or a contract with a travel agency.
