Am bringing a group from overseas for an exhibitioin at McCormick place. Hotels are extremely expensive in Chicago. Looking for a recommendation of a simple yet clean hotel that is within walking distance to McCormick Place or public transit.

I need to be close because we are not renting a car, and I’d like it to be nice, since it will be our late honeymoon, but it can’t break the bank. I’m a little weary of hotels.com and expedia.com, never really sure if the ratings are accurate.
