Is sloppy hotel service due to inadequate communication (between managers and staff or staff and guests) or just sloppy management and inefficient workers?

This is my first time traveling to Vegas. I will not be renting a car. Can someone tell me more about the shuttle systems in Vegas and how they work. Also, any additional information with how I can book a shuttle bus?

I am going to Alabama in early February and I need to stay at a hotel that cost less than $60 a night and has wireless internet. Some of the hotels I have looked at spending the night at included the La Quinta Inn, Super 8 Hotels, Jameson Inn, Days Inn, and Howard Johnson.
Out of all the hotels that cost less than $60 a night to spend the night at, which hotel would you say has the best wireless internet service and why?

My dog weighs 70 pounds, and qualifies for certification as a service dog. Are they allowed in hotels?

any ideas of what kinds of services or products to hotels and something they could really need or use….im not talking about toiletries or laundry service or anything obvious
Also since we’re on that subject since I love the toursim/travel industry what can i provide airlines with?

I see that most Vegas Hotels charge for internet service.
Why is that?
Some charge $20 a day which is ridiculous!

I work for a limousine company and have been given the task of trying to get luxury hotels in our area to reccomend us for their customers’ transportation needs. Problem is, I’m not quite sure how to approach the hotel. Should I talk to the concierge first? Should I try to talk to a general manager? Any help would be appreciated.
One more thing. The company I work for is one of the biggest limo providers in our state. We’ve been in business for over 20 years.

I’ve had friends in the service industry, in and around hotels, say that they get hit on by businessmen who ask them to go back to their hotel room.
How often does this happen to you? Have you ever accepted the offer? And, if so, was it a good experience or a bad experience?
