Will hotels rent you a room if your 17 but going to turn 18 in 5 days??? >_< If not could the parentals reserve the room for me and I check in without them being present?

We want to be close to all the sites(Smithsonian, etc), close to a train station, restaurants and a safe area. Any help would be appreciated. No luxury priced hotels. Thanks..

I am working on my term paper and I need to know the difference in hotel categories in Spain. It is difference between 5.4.3.2.1 stars hotels.

I’m going to Universal Studios in March for Vaca. I checked with the on-site hotels, you have to be 21 to rent a room. Some off site hotels also require you to be 21. I finally found a not so nice budget motel but the reviews were horrible. Then I had to call and call and finally found the Comfort Inn Universal Studios Area. I called them and the man told me you have to be 18, So I booked the room. I’m 20 right now. But how come some require 21 and some 18?
