I have never done this before and would like some more information on what normally happens.
I am thinking about getting a group of friend together for a weekend vacation but of course everyone has to pay for their own rooms.
Do I call up the hotel and tell him what I plan on doing to get a better rate?
Or would I just tell everyone I know..Hey this is where I’ll be ..figure out how to book your own rooms?
Anyone done a group weekend where everyone meets up before?

I am looking to work overseas in Ireland come the fall. I currently work front desk at a hotel and was wondering if there are hotels in Ireland that will subsedize part of your airfare or comp it all together. I would be travelling from Canada as well. Just curious if anyone knows.

I’ve got a job I do over the Internet and I’d like to travel a bit with it; how is it possible? Is it possible to work in hotels, just using the laptop and a wifi? Any hotels I’ve been in never had a working desk. I suppose I could always work in cafés with wifi, but I’d find that a little distracting.. Is there a better solution?

I manage event marketing tours. In 2006, I managed tours for 4 different companies. I spent a total of 241 days on the road. What amount can I deduct for hotels and meals? Also, are there deductions besides laundry & cell phone that I should be thinking of?
